South Copeland Youth Forum
Millom Network Centre are pleased to be able to host, in partnership with Copeland Borough Council, the South Copeland Youth Forum, here at MNC.
This forum will take place at regular intervals, and is an opportunity for young people to have their opinion about local issues listened to by Emma Dickinson, the Youth engagement officer for South Copeland, and have a say in improving opportunities in the Millom
and the surrounding area.
As the forum develops there will be an opportunity for a member of the forum to be involved in a county youth forum, representing the views and opinions of youth in the Millom area.
The evening will be informal in style and a great opportunity for young people to get involved.

Future + Workshops
If you are 14-19 yrs. old, not attending school or college and are not employed, then call Carol or Paul at MNC to find out if you could join these workshops. If you are eligible to join and successfully attend six workshops then
£30 could be yours. See you there!

Future Plus
Future Plus is an opportunity for all youngsters aged 14 to 19 who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET) to come along to MNC and get help to raise their potential and work towards a brighter future. With a combination of one to one coaching sessions, small group work, IT drop in and the Learning Development Team NEETs can get help with recognising their strengths, weaknesses and barriers, setting goals, CVs, exploring work and training application and much more.
To get involved young adults can come along and have an informal chat with either Carol, Paul or Eric who will listen to them and help them work out a plan of informal learning to suit them and their needs. This is a great opportunity especially as MNC have a wealth of contacts and networking opportunities. It’s an opportunity not to be missed.
NEETs can be referred to MNC through many outside agencies including individuals. So if you know of any 14 to 19 year olds that would benefit from this opportunity call Carol or Paul on 01229 719650.
