Millom Network Partnership
Millom Network Partnership is a coming together of the local public, private and voluntary service provider agencies. Our purpose is to develop an all inclusive, multi-agency approach to improve and increase the range and quality of services for children of all ages and their families in Millom and the surrounding areas.
We provide a framework in which agencies can operate to implement and develop services in a coherent and rational manner. Our aim is to foster the means and strategies that ensure services and resources meet local needs efficiently and with the correct priorities for our community.
Membership in the Partnership is open to all groups and services who contribute to the enhancement of life opportunities for children, young people and families throughout key stages in their lives. We hope to combine knowledge and expertise to provide effective solutions to local issues. Members meet twice a year to discuss, agree and prioritise developments and initiatives, while being backed by an executive group, managers from the range of sectors involved. We want to ensure the work of the Partnership is effective and continues to meet the needs of the families and children we help.
The Millom Network Centre proudly works in partnership with the Millom Children's Centre to bring information to the community about the services available.
