A very nice time was had by all, thanks to Millom Community Church, Pastor Fred and all his volunteers. The massive spread was catered by The Commodore Club at Haverigg, and included a little something for everyone. There was the typical sandwiches and filled pastries, but also a great choice of fresh pineapple, cherries, melon and so much more that is just perfect for a summertime feast. The sweets offered were fantastic as well.

Pastor Fred said the purpose of the luncheon was to bring the community together, and just to give something back to the area. It was truly an act of goodwill. The entire town was invited, and many different groups and individuals took full advantage of the invitation. Popular music, interesting conversation, good company, and great food were all available to enjoy.
