2010 Adult Learners' Feedback

Welcome

At Millom Network Centre, you will find a varied range of Adult Education courses, events and activities to choose from – many provided at low cost or even free in some cases.

We remain committed to providing life-long learning opportunities for all adults in a safe and confidential setting. This includes our unique Learning and Development Team of trained professional volunteers offering a free and very informal ‘one to one’ service. We will be able to help with many skills including: numeracy, literacy, IT, self esteem, writing CVs and getting anyone started back into learning- no matter what ability, level, age or need. This is really helping to build people’s confidence and help change lives. Our First Steps programme provides another opportunity to try some short courses. Many people find this an easy way to get into learning again.

We will be adding courses and events during the year and you will want to check our leaflets, website and Facebook notices from time to time to see what is new.

We look forward to welcoming you to Millom Network Centre and would encourage all our learners and other users to give us their feedback, suggestions and other comments to help us continue to improve all our services to you.

‘A’ Level Opportunities are available for adults in  partnership with Millom School Sixth Form.     Choose from:

∙ Health and Social Care

∙ English Literature

∙ English Language

And more!
