Copeland Borough Council and Locality Working
Locality Working is essentially about helping communities to come together and work towards their goal, to enthuse, involve and encourage local engagement of all sectors and communities through the promotion and delivery of locality working. Based in the Millom Network Centre my role involves enabling Communities to make the best use of Council Services and to find out how we can improve.
Local knowledge of people and places and a community focused approach to delivering services is essential. Access to funding is another key area and as part of the Localities Team we work closely with the Copeland Community Fund Development Workers.
