South Copeland Tourism Community Interest Company
South Copeland Tourism seeks to provide support and advice to all those engaged in the tourism sector and also to develop training and an annual events programme in the area. Mark Holroyd, our Tourism Development Officer is currently involved with projects to improve accommodation provision in the area, improve the marketing of South Copeland and develop the area as a destination for walkers and cyclists. We organise an annual Scarecrow festival, Heritage Open Days festival and Christmas market. In 2010/2011 we are introducing a ‘Beer ‘n’ Bangers’ festival to celebrate our local producers and a new walking festival.
